About One World Trekking and our Trekking Trips
WHO IS ONE WORLD TREKKING?
We are a collection of friends wanting to share our passion for adventure travel with you. For over 20 years, the members of One World Trekking have been organizing, marketing, selling and guiding adventure travel journeys throughout the world's great mountain regions. We see ourselves as a co-operative of experience and talent that few companies possess.

Our goal is not to wow you with lots of bells and whistles, but to provide you with sound advice and a quality trip at a competitive price. One World Trekking was founded on a grassroots level and we strive to keep prices down (without sacrificing quality) by not publishing a fancy color brochure. This website is our brochure and we will communicate with as much as needed, by email and telephone, to make sure you get on your adventure of a lifetime.
ABOUT OUR TRIPS!
Our roots are in the Himalayan countries of South Asia. These are the
areas we know best and we have an incredible support system here. One World Trekking is working in conjunction with our overseas-based agents,
who are helping us organize, operate and promote most of the Himalayan trips on
this website.

Our trips are fully-inclusive (except for some meals and personal expenses) upon arrival in the destination city. During your trip, you will be escorted by an experienced Western leader and/or an experienced, professionally trained and English-speaking Sherpa trekking guide and accompanied by a support team which will include a cook, various assistants and porters and/or pack animals. These are guided and fully supported trips. Even with
our competitive pricing, we are offering you the same quality of trip and level of service offered by companies charging twice the amount.
Our program of Himalayan treks represent the 'tried and true walking journeys' and 'epic trekking adventures'
of the world's greatest mountain range. We are able to arrange almost all of our trips to start on any day of the week during the best weather months for groups of 1 to 12 people. Our goal is to provide you a quality trek at a competitive price on dates that work for your schedule. In doing so, your trek is always guaranteed to go!

CUSTOM DESIGNED ITINERARIES AND PRIVATE DATES: We are able to offer you more treks than those listed on the website on a private and/or custom basis. In addition to our published dates, we are able to arrange a private departure date on an existing trek for your group (no minimums/16 max) OR create a custom itinerary for your group.

We do pay a 10% commission on all trips.
YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE: The trips we offer are not of your "normal" vacation variety. These are adventure trips to remote areas in under developed or developing countries. The levels of hygiene, hotels, transportation, infrastructure and other amenities may not be / will not be what we have come to expect in North America. Given that there are no weather, personnel, health, transportation or other trip related issues, our trip itineraries should (but not necessarily will) run as planned. You must be willing to accept the fact that changes to the trip itinerary may need to be made. Adventure is just that... adventure. A degree of the unknown is to be expected. If you can accept this, we welcome you to join us. If not, please consider a trip and destination that provides you with a bit more certainty (if there is such a thing). Thank You.
