ADVENTURE ON THE WORLD’S SOUTHERNMOST TREK
- The mystical Navarino Island
- Hiking circuit at the end of the world
- Camping among remote lakes and mountains
- Comforts of the Errante Lodge
Are you ready to take on the southernmost trek in the world? Adventure awaits you on Navarino Island!
Experience what Lonely Planet calls “the best trek in Patagonia” at the far reaches of the South American continent. Walk through the Dientes de Navarino massif, trek along rural roads through and alongside forests, peat bogs, valleys, ponds, lakes and rivers. Pause at the hike’s summit to take in the stunning views of the Beagle Channel, Nassau Bay, the Wollaston archipelago, the mythical archipelago of Cape Horn and the cities of Puerto Williams and Ushuaia.
This is a short but quite testing trekking vacation in a mountain region which has been voted as the most dramatic on the planet.
Discovered by Magellan, Patagonia is variously known as the ‘Land of the Tempest’ and the ‘Land of Fire and Ice’. It is situated almost at the extreme southern tip of South America, just to the north of Cape Horn. We access this remote area by way of the small town of Punta Arenas.
