Walking up to the Monkey Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal

Hi Andy,

A day of resting, walking around, sleeping and eating has me feeling back to normal. I think jet lag hits you harder the older one gets? The stop in Istanbul was so easy and fun. I highly recommend Turkish Airlines. They are very good, relatively inexpensive and seem to have great availability when needed.

The Hotel Fairfield Marriott is a GREAT group hotel. Good choice here for our groups. Friendly staff, good food and the WiFi in the hotel is excellent.

Had momos and fruit for breakie. After Istanbul I have got to wean myself off of flour. No more pastries for awhile. Was addicted to the spinach and Philo dough and anything with pistachios in it. Yum. Just now finishing my second cappuccino!

After meeting with our guide Satka, I took my traditional walk to the Monkey Temple. Those stairs don’t get any easier!

Tomorrow we start the NarPhu to Mustang Trek!
