Stand beneath the towering Machhapuchare Himal / Fish Tail peak! This scenic adventure has us following the hidden trails of the Mardi Himal in the shadow of Annapurna Himalayas. We’ll explore isolated settlements rich in culture, as we walk through enchanting forests up to a spectacular mountain wilderness. It was not until the mid-1950s that these majestic mountains were first explored by the outside world. Today, the Annapurna Range is one of the world’s most popular trekking destinations.

With daily flights between Kathmandu and Pokhara and easy access by road to and from the beginning and ending trailheads, we can offer this incredibly scenic lodge trek as a two-week package. Throughout this hike, you’ll walk along colorful trails connecting picturesque farming villages. This region of the great Annapurna Range is famous for its captivating Himalayan scenery and home to friendly Gurung and Magar indigenous communities.

TRIP OUTLINE:
Day 1: Welcome to Nepal & the Himalayas! Met upon arrival & transfer to group hotel.
Day 2: Guided sightseeing tour in and around Kathmandu. Hotel.
Day 3. Short flight to the lakeside town of Pokhara at 2,690 feet. Hotel.
Day 4: Drive to Kande & trek to Pitam Deurali (6,890ft / 2,100m). 1 hour drive. 3 hour hike.
Day 5: Trek to Forest Camp (8,270ft / 2,520m). 5 to 6 hour hike.
Day 6: Trek to Low Camp (Badal Danda) (9,745ft / 2,970m). 5 hour hike.
Day 7: To Mardi High Camp (12,795ft / 3,900m). 5 hour hike.
Day 8: To Upper Mardi Base Camp or Lower Mardi Viewpoint & return to Middle Camp.
Day 9: Trek to Sidhing (5,580ft / 1,700m) & drive to Pokhara. Hotel.
Day 10: Fly to Kathmandu. Afternoon is free for independent activities. Hotel.
Day 11: Transfer to Kathmandu Airport for your departing flight.
