Based on your feedback for shorter treks in our Epic Himalayan Journey Series, we’ve responded with a new twist on one of Nepal’s great hikes – The Manaslu Circuit. We consider the circuit around Mount Manaslu to be among one of the most scenic and challenging while remaining a remote and off-the-beaten-path destination within Nepal. The Manaslu Circuit is far less crowded than the Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Circuit, but word is getting out and teahouses are now open along the route. We have opted to stick with a tented camping trek to keep an expedition feel and take advantage of the flexibility when choosing campsites. The dramatic scenery on the route represents all that Nepal is famous, ranging from subtropical jungle, agriculture of the Himalayan Foothills, alpine meadows to the challenging 5,000 meter crossing of the Larkya La Pass. To make this trip even more exciting and adventurous, our groups will now take advantage of charter helicopter flights to and from Kathmandu and our starting and ending points. Even in its shortened version this is a Himalayan trek worthy of the ‘Epic’ title!
Manaslu Circuit Helicopter Trek (Camping Trip) is part of our Epic Himalayan Journey Series. These “gourmet” trips represent the ultimate trekking offerings of the great Himalayan Range. We are able to arrange this incredible trek starting on any day of the week during the months of April, May and September through early November for groups of 2 to 4 people.
