The Annapurna Base Camp Lodge Trek in September 2022

#1 Hey Andy,

The four of us returned from Nepal yesterday. While my body clock is upside down, I didn’t want to delay in reaching out and conveying what a terrific time was had by all on this trip.

Even with the weather not being too cooperative (rained heavily at times most days we were hiking) resulting in a lot of wet gear and clothing, your team on the ground in Kathmandu and particularly our guides, Padam Rai and Dhan Kumar Rai, really made the trip. They were patient, informative, professional, and humorous. I believe the Williams would agree, I would recommend both Padam and Dhan to anyone taking this trek or other such treks in Nepal. It all worked seamlessly. Beautiful country and wonderful people.

This was 3 years in coming and well worth the wait.

Thanks again. Until next time…

Kind regards,

Dana

All smiles in Annapurna!

#2 Hello Andy,

I just wanted to confirm Dana’s feelings about the trip from the Williams’ point of view. We had a great time. The guides were fabulous. We totally agree with Dana’s assessment. It was a truly wonderful experience.

Also, as you might recall I had requested a second guide because of my two knee replacements that were less than a year old. I wanted to have the option of changing the trek for me if I had problems with my knees.

Padam or Dhan was by my side (or close by) the entire trek. They made me feel comfortable and confident even on the steep down sections. They gave a helping hand when needed. Padam frequently relieved me of my day pack. They always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. Furthermore, they both were genuinely nice and fun to be around.

In retrospect, I can’t imagine any guides fitting the bill any better than Padam and Dhan.

Thanks Andy,
