Utah Team Completes the EBC Lodge Trek in Nepal
Good morning Andy – I’ve been planning to email, but you beat me to it.
The trip was absolutely wonderful! I’ve been planning a trip to Base Camp since I was in high school and it finally happened and it was everything I had hoped it would be. The weather was perfect, and the hike was incredible – but the real magic of the trip was Dik and his team of guides. They were so great and got all of us to base camp and back. I think if we had other guides, I don’t think the whole group would have made it. And at the teahouses and lodges at night it was clear how much better and more engaged that Dik was compared to all the other guides we saw. Samone (his nephew and assistant guide) was great as well.
